Episode 89 :: Brett & Jana Aplin :: Stories of the Global Church, Traveling and Living on Mission
Today I get to share with y’all a really incredible conversation with my friends Brett and Jana Aplin. Brett and Jana are the dynamic duo that make up Aplins in the Alps, and they share the super sweet story behind their God dreams in the Swiss Alps, and also their passion for travel and the international church.
This episode unpacks the power of the Gospel in the lives of those who say yes to Jesus. Bret and Jana’s story is such a powerful picture of the Spirit of God at work around the world in these days following Pentecost and celebrating the birth of the Church. Brett and Jana’s story is such an inspiring, powerful, and encouraging picture of the Spirit of God at work around the world in these days following Pentecost and celebrating the birth of the Church.
Since our chat a few weeks ago, they are now indeed in Switzerland, sharing their adventures on their instagram page, and they launched their YouTube page! You can find links to connect with them, and even find ways to support them in the show notes. And they can always use prayer!!
While you’re praying for them, I wonder if you would be bold enough to ask the Lord where He might be leading you? Could He be prompting you to find ways to press in to where you are, or might He be calling you to go somewhere and be present there? I love how they point out in this conversation that there’s so much beauty in both the commission to “go and tell”, and also the invitation to “come and see.” The Lord will make Himself known in your story, just as He has in theirs.
