Simply Summer Reading List
It dawned on me this week that we are halfway through our summer break from school for our kiddos. I was simultaneously washed with feelings of regret about what we haven’t had time for, excitement for activities in this second half of summer, and maaaaybe a little bit of anticipation about things being a little quieter around here. (Just being honest lol)
Wherever you find yourself this first week of July, there is never a bad time to dive into some new books!! I’ve compiled a list of fiction and non-fiction books I have been loving lately that have equally been entertaining and (most of them) educational about parts of history I didn’t know a lot about before. I hope you find something you might enjoy or a topic you’d like to learn more about on the lists below. If you do, send me a message or tag me on social media! I’m always down for book talk.
All Through the Night - Tara Johnson
Come Back to Me - Jody Hedlund
Jewel of the Nile - Tessa Afshar
Plot Twist- Bethany Turner (I listened to this on audible and it was FANTASTIC)
The Nature of a Lady - Roseanna M. White (honestly… ANY of her books. Start with the Shadows over England trilogy)
The Tea Chest - Heidi Chiavaroli
Just for fun, I thought I’d also include my TBR (to be read) pile as well!
A Lady in Attendance- Rachel Fordham
All the Light We Cannot See - Anthony Doerr
Colors of Truth - Tamera Alexander
Tidewater Bride - Laura Frantz
Unknown Threat- Lynn Blackburn
When Twilight Breaks- Sarah Sundin
